    What I Had
A combination with a burrito, enchilada, and a chili relleno.

    What I Spent
    $11 after drink and tip

    What I Thought
I wasn’t impressed at all. The sauces used and the flavor of the meat were just not good. And the chili relleno was one of the worst I’ve ever had.

    Would I Return?
No. There are way too many Mexican restaurants around here that are way better than El Nopal.

    Other Thoughts
The service was ok, but other than that, nothing stood out at all. Don’t waste your time here. Go find a La Parilla (go North on 41 to Cedarcrest).

    What I Had
A lunch special with a burrito, soft taco, and rice

    What I Spent
    About $7 with water

    What I Thought
Overall this is just another Mexican restaurant in an area that is overflowing with Mexican restaurants. Same chips and salsa while you wait for your meal, same lunch combinations, same ambiance, and same quality of food.

    Would I Return?
There is nothing that would stop me from eating here again if I was looking for Mexican food and it was the closest place.

    Other Thoughts
If you are looking for a Mexican meal then drive the extra 10 minutes north on Highway 41 and eat at La Parilla on Cedarcrest road.

    What I Had
    The 3 taquitos lunch special

    What I Spent
    $4.50 before tax and tip

    What I Thought
The taquitos are good and the special was cheap, although I was still a little hungry afterwards.

    Would I Return?
It would not be my first choice for Mexican, but I would not refuse to go back. I would suggest somewhere else though, if there was a debate over it.

    Other Thoughts
The food is fine but not stand-out. Not bad, but nothing to draw me back.
