    What I Had
Ham, turkey, and bacon sandwich plus chips and a drink.

    What I Spent
    $10

    What I Thought
Portions are huge, and it’s not really cheap. I’d like to see smaller portioned options with a little lower price. The food was excellent.

    Would I Return?
Yes, but probably not a whole lot until there are a few more budget-friendly items on the menu.

    Other Thoughts
An order of fries is enough for at least 2 people to share. Chips could probably be split at least 2 ways as well. So if you’re going with a friend, just share those. The sandwich I had was piled high, and the meat was delicious.

  2. What I Had
Corned Beef and Pastrami on rye and a basket of fries.

    What I Spent
    $11

    What I Thought
Portions are huge–definitely plenty to share. Meat was piled high, fresh, and delicious.

    Would I Return?
Definitely. This is one of those rare places where I want to try something different every time I go.

    Other Thoughts
The higher-end sandwiches are a bit pricey, but huge and worth it. Great to share with the wife for lunch. There are some more budget-minded items that are just as delicious (Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, Fried Bologna sandwich, Gyro) if you’re not looking to spend $10. Fries/chips are definitely not required, but are great (and plenty to share). I love this place!

    What I Had
Grilled bologna sandwich and chips. The bologna is thick cut and I mean thick cut.

    What I Spent
    $6.65 with water

    What I Thought
First impression was the name. How can anyone use “Big City” in their name in Acworth? But, who cares about the name when they score a perfect 100 on their health inspection and the food tastes great.

    Would I Return?
Yes, although most of the items on the menu are over $7 before adding a drink and side. This makes lunch a little pricey if you are budget-minded in any way. The food was good though so this is one those, “you get what you pay for” moments in life.

    Other Thoughts
The sandwiches are huge and the sides are enough to share with 2 or 3 other people. I would suggest that the owners create a lunch combo menu that has a half sandwich, smaller side, and and fountain drink for the $6 to $7 range. Then it would really be worth coming back to try some of the menu items.

    What I Had
    Gyro and a coke

    What I Spent
    $8.11

    What I Thought
Typical gyro, which was good. If you’re a gyro fan, it’s a good choice and one of the less expensive items as well.

    Would I Return?
Yes, there are several other sandwiches that I would like to try, and everyone else had positive feedback for what they ordered.

    Other Thoughts
The gyro was not overly huge and was a cheaper item, but most of their portions are enough to give you leftovers for that evening.

    What I Had
I had a Reuben sandwich, chips and a water

    What I Spent
    About $10

    What I Thought
Great food, portions are too big, price is too high.

    Would I Return?
Yes, but would probably only go with someone who wanted to split a meal.

    Other Thoughts
I loved the food, but got easily two times more than I could eat. This place could really benefit from putting together lunch specials where the portion is half the size and price.

i had a chicago dog. they put all of the “fixings” underneath the dog, which made the bun quite soggy. with a side of fries It was quite filling. I was with my mom, who doesn’t like hot-dogs. she said her “philly cheese-steak” burger was excellent.might have to try the corned beef sandwich next time.spent about $15.00 for 2 people. will definitely be back soon.
